LifeSpan Fitness TR1200-DT-TR1200-DT5 Treadmill Review

Working out with the LifeSpan Fitness TR1200 Treadmill Desk

For busy people like me, finding a free moment to work out is often difficult. Luckily my trainer had the perfect advice on hand and I got myself the TR1200 Treadmill desk. I have to admit getting this on my own would have been impossible and I have to thank my trainer. Who could have guessed you could buy a treadmill attached to a fully functional work station? Having settled for this machine, I had it assembled and couldn’t wait for the test run.

Features and Rating

Product rating:  4.5

First of all based on the convenience and features I bet the TR1200 should be rated a 5, why? Well, like I said I wasn’t getting much exercise before but the key selling point for me was convenience. First of all the work surface is large enough to hold all my office productivity tools, yes, printer, laptop, phones and more. Once I brought it into the office in no time my fellow workmates started to gain interest in the treadmill desk. The height is adjustable, the walking area is wide and the padded armrests make it so comfortable.

After my first few sessions I was soon hooked. Fortunately the machine comes with varying speeds (max 4 mph) so I could adjust my workouts to fill in time while waiting for calls or meetings. The machine also has an auto mechanism to detect when I walk away so I don’t have to keep running to the power switch. That is not to mention that it monitors number of steps, time, distance and even calories. Currently I spend at least an hour daily on the machine (split sessions).

The machine is such a favourite of mine because it has helped me keep my weight down. With a busy schedule fitting in time to exercise is not just difficult but often you don’t have the energy to maintain the workout.  I don’t know how many gym sessions I have missed = lost money and more weight. With this machine all I need to work on now is carrying real food to the office and I have a full exercise regimen.
